Could this be you?

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Establishing and generating data infrastructure that allows easy access to databases.
• Designing and implementing data models using programming languages, such as SQL, Python, Postgres, etc.

• Designing and building analytical tools to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other business performance metrics

• Identifying opportunities for streamlining processes to improve efficiency
• Identifying data patterns and trends to develop business strategies

How you can make a difference

• Create ETL processes and troubleshoot ETL failures

• Perform SQL coding, performance tuning, and query optimization

• Analyze raw data from different sources to build data systems and storage

• Develop new ways to store data using various technologies and systems
• Administer complex data analysis and report on results
• Locate and fix bugs, errors, and technical issues

Skills for success

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively with other the teams

• Strong knowledge of SQL and related database technologies. Experience implementing complex ETL and data extraction projects from scratch
• Ability to create and maintain data standards and governance
• Work with data scientists and other professionals to evaluate business objectives

Experience to drive change

• 5+ years of engineering experience, preferably with SQL
• Bachelors degree or relevant work experience

For Colorado Residents only: The base compensation range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000. At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. This role may be eligible for annual/quarterly bonus incentives (if applicable), and the selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan with company match.
