As the Senior Engineer, SCCM, you'll assist with the administration and maintenance of the Systems Center solution working closely with peers in the deployment of Microsoft updates, third party patching, application and operating system deployments, and Windows 10 servicing. You will be responsible for resolving tickets and incidents opened by end users for SCCM clients, application/patch deployments, new system image certifications and Windows client deployments. This role is critical in positioning XPO for long-term success.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Build, test and deploy the corporate desktop image management solution
• Package, test and deploy business software packages and updates to the end user environment
• Execute inventory management processes of end user hardware and software assets
• Create scripting solutions within PowerShell for various administrative needs
• Conduct testing and evaluation of new hardware models
• Participate in standard image development, management, QA testing and deployment
• Provide support for L2 issue escalations/tickets

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience supporting a large enterprise environment
• Strong knowledge of SCCM 2012, MDT and Windows 10 servicing; Active Directory Management and patch management solutions (WSUS); networking, DNS and infrastructure concepts

It'd be great if you also have:

• MCP or MSCE certifications
• Strong scripting experience using PowerShell, VBS, etc.
• Strong understanding of OS system settings, management settings and navigation
• Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows applications
• 3 years of experience with SCOM
• 3 years of experience with SCORCH
• 3 years of experience designing, implementing, supporting and maintaining a corporate desktop environment
• 3 years of experience building and imaging desktops
• 3 years of experience with SCCM
• 1 year of experience managing AD functions
