This role sits at the intersection of cloud engineering, AI-driven automation, and workforce productivity platforms, shaping the tools used daily by large-scale internal teams. You will design and build scalable, secure, and event-driven systems that integrate across modern enterprise tools and services. The position involves working on AI-enabled workflows, internal developer platforms, and integrations that improve operational efficiency and reliability. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams spanning DevOps, security, infrastructure, and product. Accountabilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable workforce tools, integrations, and cloud-native services that support enterprise operations.
- Design and implement secure, cost-effective, and scalable software solutions using modern cloud and microservices architectures
- Build and maintain integrations across internal platforms and external APIs, including AI/LLM-enabled systems and automation workflows
- Contribute to architectural decisions and uphold engineering best practices across CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile delivery models
- Develop event-driven services and reusable components that enhance system reliability, extensibility, and performance
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, peer reviews, production issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with product and architecture teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and effort estimates
- Support operational excellence by ensuring adherence to security standards, coding guidelines, and deployment best practices
- 5–8 years of production software engineering experience across the full development lifecycle
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, and AWS serverless technologies
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining integrations with external APIs and distributed systems
- Experience designing and operating AI-enabled systems, including LLM integrations, MCP servers, and related infrastructure
- Understanding of AI system security practices including guardrails, access control, and secrets management
- Strong knowledge of scalable architecture, system design, testability, and maintainability principles
- Experience working in Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps environments with production ownership responsibilities
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills in cross-functional engineering teams
- Ability to evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, particularly AI-driven tools and workflows
- U.S. work authorization and willingness to travel 3–5 times per year
- Competitive salary range: $153,000 – $166,000, adjusted based on location and experience
