General Summary

The Sr Manager, Finance & Accounting will provide financial and accounting oversight and support to the Resonant management team. This position will oversee the finance and accounting staff and coordinate with the parent company.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
• Oversee monthly and quarterly financial close and ensure accurate reporting in accordance with GAAP.
• Lead the annual budget, quarterly re-forecasting and budget to actual reporting.
• Prepare quarterly financial reports.
• Prepare schedules and journal entries for complex accounting transactions.
• Ensure internal controls are in place and being performed.
• Cash management including payment approvals and cash flow forecasting.
• Support tax preparation.
• Assess, develop and maintain a strong focus on risk management, including interrelated areas of contract language, insurance, etc.

Miscellaneous Job Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance management position.
• Experience in financial and managerial reporting as well as technical knowledge; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• Ability to team with a variety of people to achieve business objectives as a manager.
• Strong understanding and thorough knowledge of general accounting principles, including the application of general accounting theory and GAAP.
• Experience with IFRS is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple demands and priorities.
• Ability to be an effective driver of issues throughout the operation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree or coursework toward a Master's Degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Experience working in cultural diversities.

Travel

Travel to Northern California once a month if not located in the primary office.
