Global Treasury & Financial Services (GTFS) is a global team that supports the digital transformation journey of Microsoft's customers, partners & vendors by providing competitive credit and payment solutions to support revenue growth while managing credit risk. We are a compliance first organization with customer obsession and deal economics focus. We support $120B in trade receivables and $11B in payment solutions per year in global markets. The team is also charged with managing over $130B of investment portfolio, currency risk, bank account infrastructure and business risk insurance.

The GTFS - Venture Integration team is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to assist with integration planning and execution for the broader organization. This person will partner with the Director for Venture Integration on integration planning and execution for the broader GTFS organization, including program management efforts to enable a successful integration of acquired companies from a Treasury and Credit & Collections perspective.

Qualifications:

Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
    • OR equivalent experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, or Business AND 5+ years experience in project management, business operations, finance and analysis, strategic or relationship management role.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams to achieve results
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
  • Direct or related integration experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Experience with credit risk, trade receivables, financial reporting and/or treasury operations
Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $91,800 - $178,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $117,900 - $195,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

Supports mergers and acquisition activities such as deal-close and preliminary integration of acquired companies, reviews and manages data and programs for assigned integration deals providing support to team members; assists team in compiling content for management and target presentations and reports on deal steps and status; provides support for deal leads progress reports.
  • Supports financial execution of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) deal activities, such as due diligence, integration planning and execution; provides program management support to GTFS acquisition lead and support to team members; assists team in compiling content for management and target presentations; provides support for deal leads progress reports.
  • Provides support to GTFS acquisition director in planning and execution of due diligence in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) deals, as needed; collects target company data from the data room, analyzes; participates in finance due diligence field work with the target company when necessary.
  • Provides support to GTFS acquisition lead by coordinating meetings, populating data rooms, and creating initial integration presentations; coordinates events by creating and sending correspondence and invitations, and supports meeting success; manages multiple deliverables to strict timelines; and tracks the integration after the merger/acquisition to ensure success.
  • Provides insight on potential process improvements based on historical data, scorecard evaluation, across integration management observations, and industry trends and best practices; provides insight into new technologies to make the integration process more efficient; reviews and provides insight to team about merger and acquisition competition; ensures data are secure in sites; ensures milestones are on-track for integration process.
  • Assembles and summarizes data through data mining and business intelligence to assess cost and performance analysis for insights and learnings in future deals.
  • Collaborates with internal Microsoft acquisition teams such as technology, finance, legal, and operations.
  • Model and foster a collaborative, inclusive, growth mindset culture within the team and business stakeholders
