Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager to support our Biosciences Division (BID) in the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning and analysis (FP&A) support, driving profitability growth, and partnering with BID leaders to optimize the P&L and drive organic growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to navigate a complex, matrix organization.
Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning and Analysis:
• Support BID APJ Regional Commercial Team in finance planning and analytical work streams including:
  
  
  • Monthly Forecast
  • Monthly & Quarterly Business Review
  • Opex Management
  • Annual Operations Plan (AOP)
  • Business Case Simulation
  • Deals and Funnel Review
  • 5-Year Strategic Plan (STRAP)
• Profitability Growth:
• Provide FP&A support to BID APJ team to drive profitability growth.
• Business partnering with BID leaders to optimize P&L and drive for organic growth.
• Resource Optimization:
• Provide finance input in terms of resource optimization and organization efficiency.
• Continuously look for opportunities for process improvement.
• Ad Hoc Reports and Analysis:
• Support regional commercial leader with ad hoc reports and analysis.
• Talent Development:
• Develop and retain finance talents within the team.
• Mentor and coach employees to build a high-performing finance team.

Qualifications:

• More than 15 years of working experience in a multinational corporation (MNC).
• Strong commercial sense and ability to navigate through a matrix organization.
• Self-motivated and result-driven individual with a proactive approach.
• Excellent analytical skills and highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to be hands-on with analytical work.
• Proven experience in mentoring and coaching employees to achieve their potential.
