This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst - Technology Finance in India.
In this role, you will act as a key finance partner supporting Technology and FP&A leadership, driving transparency and governance across technology spending. You will be responsible for analyzing, forecasting, and optimizing labor and operational costs across internal teams and external vendors. By leveraging advanced financial systems and IT financial management tools, you will ensure accurate reporting, budgeting, and cost allocation. This position plays a critical role in strengthening financial discipline, improving forecasting accuracy, and supporting strategic investment decisions. You will work closely with procurement, vendor management, and technology teams to ensure compliance and cost efficiency. The role combines deep financial expertise with strong analytical and systems capabilities in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. Your work will directly contribute to improved financial visibility and better technology investment outcomes.
Accountabilities:
- Act as a strategic finance partner to Technology and FP&A leadership, supporting budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and variance analysis
- Establish and maintain labor financial governance frameworks across internal teams, contractors, and vendors
- Validate and reconcile vendor invoices, labor hours, and billing rates against contracts and approved rate cards
- Monitor and optimize labor costs, identifying savings opportunities and improving financial efficiency
- Ensure accurate Opex vs Capex classification, capitalization tracking, and audit readiness
- Support long-range planning, workforce financial modeling, and scenario analysis
- Develop financial dashboards and reporting using tools such as Power BI and Excel
- Leverage IT financial management platforms (e.g., Apptio) to improve cost transparency and allocation
- Collaborate with procurement and vendor management teams on negotiations and renewals
- Support project financial governance, including cost tracking, ROI analysis, and business case evaluation
- Reconcile financial data across ERP, Apptio, and other source systems to ensure accuracy and integrity
- Contribute to automation and process improvement using Microsoft Power Platform tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 5–8+ years of experience in FP&A, IT Finance, or Technology Financial Management
- Strong expertise in labor cost governance, invoice validation, and Opex/Capex accounting
- Solid financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis skills
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools such as Power BI
- Hands-on experience with Apptio or similar IT financial management platforms
- Experience using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Pages, workflow automation) is a plus
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work across multiple stakeholders including finance, technology, and procurement teams
- Strong communication skills with a governance and compliance mindset
- Experience in improving financial processes through automation and standardization
