Senior Financial Data Analyst

General Summary of PositionPlans and performs analysis of hospital operations to perform detailed studies in areas of hospital revenue, expenses, statistics, product lines and services. This position reports to the Budget Manager and works closely with the AVP Finance.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree Industrial or Management Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or Accounting required

Experience

• 3-4 years of progressively more responsible including using data systems, as well as spreadsheet, work processing, and data base applications required
• Experience with Hyperion and Peoplesoft preferred
• Experience in collecting and analyzing healthcare data (cost accounting, budget, decision support, productivity, etc.), including financial and management analysis leading to quality improvement preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of personal computer spreadsheets (Excel) and database management
