Senior Financial Data Analyst

The Senior Financial Data Analyst is responsible for aligning IT investments with the most valuable outcomes for JM Family. Also, is responsible for the qualification of new ITS projects and the tracking of the successful execution of completed projects. This position will also partner with ITS Strategy & Planning, the Senior IT Financial Analyst will develop and analyze financial projections and economic benefits for all major ITS projects.

As JM Family evolves from a traditional Waterfall project management delivery model to a Product-Centric Agile Value Stream structure, this analyst will help determine new funding models to support the evolution of the ITS organization. This position will drive cost transparency, improve IT chargeback, and leverage project and change management skills to successfully execute on various objectives and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for organization, planning, and execution of departmental projects and initiatives including defining goals, communication with stakeholders, track and report milestones, ensure deadlines are met, and drive from inception to a successful closure
• Improve the quality of IT financial data to facilitate transparent reporting to Business Unit customers
• Provide meaningful data analytics/insights to drive cost optimization
• Liaison with IT and Business Unit partners to facilitate technical aspects of projects with various systems used across the organization (ServiceNow, NetSuite, Azure boards, Jira, etc.)
• The selected associate will be responsible for supporting ServiceNow financial processes, data, and reporting covering multiple facets such as resource management, projects, and financial management
• Drive and create compelling presentations for the Executive Leadership to help facilitate go/no-go decisions for ITS projects
• Able to maintain and create financial models to capture the return on investments for ITS projects
• Work to establish new funding models to support Value Stream & Product team funding
• Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Objectives and Key Results (OKR) for projects/product teams
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies and automation

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Finance and/or IT experience required
• Bachelor's degree in finance or information technology preferred
• Master's degree a plus
• IT concepts e.g. value stream, product team management, and agile delivery a plus
• Able to prepare and deliver compelling presentations and summarize financial analytics to facilitate decision-making
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels while working with tight deadlines
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products including an advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• ServiceNow, PowerBi & Essbase experience is a plus
