About the Team

Ask's Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Technology team is seeking a self-driven Senior Front-End Engineer to join us in expanding our content marketing portfolio management platform—a key revenue driver for the business. About the Role

As a Senior Front-End Engineer on this high-impact team, you will partner with the business to build and enhance our marketing technology platform using state-of-the art technology while balancing long-term developer productivity. Your work will empower our marketing team to efficiently manage the advertisement lifecycle from campaign management to optimization across multiple advertising platforms on a daily basis. This is a fast-paced environment that requires speed, agility, and effective collaboration skills to solve large scale technical challenges.

• Continuously improve the development and support processes, and contribute to the team's growth and success.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Designers, Marketers, and Product Managers to design, develop, and optimize the user interface to provide a seamless and intuitive user experience.

About Your Technical Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/electrical engineering or equivalent work experience in related field.

• 6+ years of experience building highly performant and scalable web applications using modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular or Backbone.

• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JS (ES6+), and UI/UX design and coding best practices.

• Experience with CSS preprocessors such as LESS or SASS

• Experience with UI performance optimization techniques and tools.

• Experience with ReactJS testing frameworks such as Jest, Testing library, Enzyme.

• Experience working with relational databases.

• Comfortable working in Linux/MacOS environments.

Bonus Points if You Have...

• Experience integrating advertisement platforms such as Facebook/Meta Ads, Google Ads, Bing/Microsoft Ads.

• Experience developing containerized applications/services using Kubernetes and public cloud infrastructures like AWS, GCP, and Azure.

• Working knowledge of web frameworks such as Spring/Spring Boot.

Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $165,000 USD annually. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Ask Media Group’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include annual bonuses, and short and long-term incentives.
