About the role

We are looking for a senior frontend engineer with deep experience in developing production-ready applications and a passion for building a great user experience.

As a part of our growing frontend team, you will collaborate closely with our product and design teams to plan, build, and launch new products like Identity Resolution and Match Booster from start to finish. You’ll also help evolve our frontend design system to be more reusable and developer-friendly.

Our frontend is built using React and Typescript, and our backend is largely in Node.js. As a senior voice on the frontend team, you will not only help shape our best practices, but also lead development on some of our most challenging frontend features. How you’ll spend your time:

• Develop production-ready code for our most high-impact new products
• Make critical frontend architecture and technology choices
• Collaborate directly with product managers and designers to understand for new features
• Review code and provide guidance/mentorship to junior frontend engineers

About you:

• You have experience building with React and Typescript
• You love the pixel-perfect details and care about writing good CSS
• You're driven by getting your work into the hands of happy users
• You have excellent communication skills and enjoy collaboration with coworkers and customers
• You strive to write simple, understandable code that others can easily read
• You have experience leading a frontend engineering team
• You have a basic understanding of backend technologies like Node.js, databases, server-side APIs
• Bonus: You have experience shipping SaaS or web-based products to market

Compensation

Hightouch’s salary range for this position is $170,000 - $240,000 USD per year.
