Job Description

The Senior IT Analyst job provides information technology services in facilities planning, operations and support. This position supports the Air Traffic Organization (ATO)'s Technical Operations Services under the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is on the NAS Modernization Group. and involves analytical and writing skills. 

Specific Required Experience and Skill Sets:

• Experience in designing and implementing a data platform for analytics and reporting
• Understand relational database design including data normalization, data types, and data integrity.
• Understand AWS Cloud Technologies to include core AWS services including compute, network, databases and storage.
• Understand the AWS shared responsibility model and security best practices.
• Identify AWS services for common business use cases.
• Experience with coding in business class languages such as Python, SQL and/or Visual Basic or Applications (VBA).
• Experience with converting manual procedures to automation.
• Experience with programming/scripting automated tests steps.
• Knowledge of database architecture and programming
• Develop user graphical interface to display data/functions
• Design dashboards for easy understandable views of operational status.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Information systems, business systems, management information systems, IT management, other IT degrees are required. Engineering, math, and science degrees are acceptable substitute degrees.
• Required 15+ Years of relevant experience
• Experience with database architecture and programming, Tableau platform/development, Data Analysis/Management
• Preferred experience in Full Life Cycle Project Management, Agile/Scrum Frameworks, Troubleshooting/Critical Thinking
• 360° Information Services Management
• Power Apps
• Cloud Infrastructure, Amazon AWS
