Job Description
Ibotta is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. Reporting to the Manager, IT, the Senior Systems Engineer will take ownership, architecture, and support of our Mac and Windows provisioning process. They will work cross functionally creating strong relationships and help advance processes in Ibotta’s fast paced environment.Â
This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position, requiring 2 days in office. Preferred in-office hybrid days are Tuesday and Thursday. Candidates must live in the United States.
What you will be doing:
Ongoing ownership, architecture, and support of our Mac provisioning process (Zero Touch Device Deployment), including configuration, testing, and deployment
Develop and maintain various jobs (Bash, Python, Swift, PowerShell, etc.) to automate patch updates, software deployment, and lifecycle automation for MacOS systemsÂ
Participate in continuous monitoring of IT security activities
Act as an escalation point and mentor for high tech needs across the team
Identify gaps and propose solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Create knowledge base articles, how-to guides, and training material for the Ibotta IT team
Routine review of incidents, identifying problems and addressing them to resolution
Stay current with new technologies and advancements in endpoint management

What we are looking for:Â
7+ years in a Mac/Apple-heavy technical roleÂ
Extensive experience as a Jamf Engineer, with a strong focus on Jamf Pro administration, configuration, and management
Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, Swift, etc.) for automation and customization of device management workflows
Experience with Intune, Windows Device Management and Patching
Kanban/Agile project management
Great communication skills, both written and verbalÂ
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities
Strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations
Ability to devise non-traditional solutions to meet business needs
Nice to Have:
Jira and Confluence administration
Jamf Certifications (200/300)
Zoom Device Deployment

Additional Details:
- This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, 401k match, and equity. Denver office perks include paid parking, bagel Thursdays, snacks and occasional meals.
Base compensation range: $105,100.00- $136,050.00. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience.
