Senior Java Developer (Camunda)

We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer with experience in Camunda to join our development team.

The successful candidate will be involved in the development and design of new chemical products with continuous and batch production concepts. Our team consists of 12 members and utilizes a range of technologies including AWS, Apache, JAVA/Kotlin, JS, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions using Valtimo / Camunda with Java/Kotlin Stack
• Maintain and manage source code repositories
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
• Assist in the deployment and monitoring of applications
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Java Developer with knowledge of Camunda
• Strong understanding of Java and Kotlin programming languages
• Experience with AWS, Apache, and DevOps practices
• Familiarity with JavaScript and related technologies
• Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Nice to have

• Expertise in Kubernetes
• Experience with continuous and batch production concepts
• Knowledge of chemical product development processes
• Prior experience in a multi-location work environment
