- Manage a team of Technical Project Managers (currently 4) who coordinate cross-functional projects that drive merchant success
- Recruit new TPMs to double the size of the team in the next year and keep pace with company growth
- Collaborate with various team members across the company to understand key requirements, set the team’s priorities to line up with the company’s key objectives, and oversee project execution and ongoing improvement
- Define standard project management documentation and operational standard processes
- Champion measurement and iterative improvement based on data-driven experimentation
What you need:
- 3+ years of people management experience
- 6+ years of project or program management experience in an agile environment with multiple teams and partners
- Demonstrated understanding of modern project management processes and agile software development
- Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
- Personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising the work of teams
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and promoting a collaboration mentality
- Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles

- Location: This role is a in-office hybrid role and required to work from our Washington DC or Austin office 2 days/week. Full Covid-19 vaccination is required to enter any of our Upside offices.
