ABOUT THE JOB

• Create and maintain SEC reporting calendar, coordinate key timelines, and deliverables, and work collaboratively with various business partners to ensure timely, accurate, and complete SEC filings
• Lead in the preparation of SEC filings (including 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, Proxy, and associated XBRL reporting efforts) to ensure compliance with SEC rules and regulations and U.S. GAAP, and consistency across all communications
• Manage distribution and updates to draft filings
• Manage xBRL tagging process
• Develop and maintain expertise with and control company’s use of SEC reporting application tool
• Coordinate, research, prepare and conclude on new disclosures, technical accounting memos, footnotes, and other updates to SEC filings based on new transactions and other management driven changes.
• Prepare calculations/schedules for earnings per share, statement of cash flow, and equity rollforward, among others.
• Ensure complete and accurate supporting documentation of financial and other information used in external reporting, including financial statements, earnings releases, earnings release scripts and Investor Relations materials
• Assist with review of relevant materials and presentations consistent with SEC filings, including analyst presentations and other materials where necessary.
• Preparation of Disclosure Committee materials and monitor progress against reporting cycle deadlines.
• Prepare/review of GAAP disclosure checklists with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Document and assist in the annual review of company accounting policies, including development and documentation of updates and new accounting policies as required.
• Continuously work to enhance and streamline reporting processes and controls and ensure proper execution and updates of external reporting SOX controls.
• Work directly with external auditors and take responsibility for relevant audit requests
• Lead and oversee ad-hoc projects as necessary.

ABOUT YOU

• 7+ years experience including at least 3 years in public accounting, preferably Big Four audit including direct experience on external reporting and technical accounting responsibilities.
• Bachelor or higher degree in accounting or finance
• CPA; experience at “Big 4” audit firm a plus

• Strong Microsoft Excel Skills and ability to work with complex models
• Strong US GAAP and accounting skills required with the ability to convert technical research and interpretation into a practical solution
• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking with the ability to analyze financial results
• Team player with experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders to effectively drive results
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Able to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks
• Brings a diligent and hands-on style and the ability to prioritize and deliver results in a fast moving company with a wide variety of critical initiatives
