At Motive, the growth marketing team is responsible for maximizing growth and new customer acquisition across all that we do. The responsibilities of the team span the entire customer journey - from first touchpoint to upsell and retention. We put the user first - ensuring we are delivering on our core value proposition and putting the right message in the right moment.Â
As a senior manager of lifecycle marketing, you’ll be responsible for maximizing lifetime value across all of our customer touchpoints. You’ll help us grow self-serve conversion, reduce churn, and maximize expansion. You’ll run creative campaigns with a highly experimental mindset across lots of channels: in app, direct mail, email, retargeting, and more. You will work cross functionally to manage strategic growth projects that require integration with multiple teams (Sales, Customer Success, Design, Development, Product, Sales Operations, etc.) and have the potential to deliver major improvements to overall customer lifecycle performance and profitability.
This role is remote and based in the US.

What You'll Do:- Act as a player & coach in the development of campaigns to mitigate churn, maximize upsell and cross sell, and enhance free to paid conversion rate
- Partner closely with internal teams like marketing analytics, operations, product, success and design to enable the activation of campaigns
- Act as growth lead in developing and activating various models in partnership with data science, including churn prediction, propensity to buy, and more
- Develop and optimize multivariate tests to ensure actions are maximizing full funnel liftÂ
- Roll out new placements to maximize the surface area for customer campaigns
- Deliver personalized, omnichannel journeys that drive KPIs higher
- Partner closely with analytics to develop standardized metrics that measure the incrementality of marketing efforts on customers
- Create segments of current customers for targeting and activate those segments multi-channel
- 7+ years of experience with lifecycle marketing, CRM marketing, CRO, and personalization
- Proven success building scaled strategies that drive revenue growth across multiple disciplines
- Experience improving user experience in mobile applications that deliver incremental revenue and adoption
- 4+ years of experience in a growth related discipline
- Experience developing lifecycle marketing programs from the ground upÂ
- A constant learner, with deep knowledge of the current best practices in lifecycle marketingÂ
- Experience working with advanced analytics including propensity models
- Demonstrated analytical skills with ability to create, work and summarize large data sets into clear insights that inform decisions
- Strong communication and presentation skills, demonstrated experience briefing senior leaders on outcomes & recommendations, and an interest in teaching others
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, statistics, computer science, or related field
The compensation range for this position will depend on where you reside. Motive uses three geographic zones to determine pay range: Zone 4 (workers who live in San Francisco), Zone 3 (workers who live in select U.S. metropolitan areas: Los Angeles, San Diego, New York City Area, Seattle, Washington D.C.), and Zone 2 (workers who live elsewhere in the United States). For this role, the compensation ranges are:Â
- USA4: 152,000 - 228,000
- USA3: 137,000 - 205,000Â
- USA2: 122,000 - 182,000Â
