About the team:
Robinhood Money, LLC is a licensed money transmitter. We are looking for an experienced and innovative senior manager to join our compliance team. In this role, you will partner with product, engineering, operations and legal teams to launch products that meet legal, regulatory and compliance requirements. You will monitor regulatory changes, best practice and developments and assess their impact on Robinhood Money's products and programs. You will work closely with our bank partners, other key partners, vendors and affiliates. The senior manager will be responsible for developing and designing departmental processes and guidelines, managing legal and regulatory risk, and ensuring deadlines and service levels are met.
The ideal candidate will be an engaged and resourceful self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and excellent at building strong relationships.
What you'll do day-to-day:

• Lead critical aspects of Robinhood Money's compliance program with a specific focus on ensuring existing and new product offerings meet legal and regulatory requirements and are consistent with company policies and procedures
• Execute on, design, implement and maintain compliance controls
• Provide advice to the Product team on potential and existing products and services
• Provide advice and review marketing, advertising, communications and other content related to Robinhood Money's product offerings
• Develop and implement appropriate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations
• Monitor for and respond to new regulatory developments and trends to assess impact on RHY's readiness
• Manage Compliance relationships with key partners including RHY's banking partner and payments processor
• Identify, track and remediate compliance issues

About you:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in financial services, banking, payments or other fintech
• Knowledge of consumer protection regulations including Regulation E and UDAAP
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to drive cross-functional alignment and action
• Execution-oriented mindset with the humility, drive and creativity to get things done

Bonus points:

• Knowledge of the Prepaid Accounts rule
• Knowlege of state money transmission rules and regulations
• Experience interacting with regulators or working at financial regulatory agencies
• Experience leading a team
• CRCM certification

CO Residents: In Colorado, the base pay for this position ranges from $143000 to $189000. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and participation in Robinhood's equity plan.
