The Lookout marketing team is seeking a Senior Manager level marketing leader to scale our global partner marketing efforts. These are exciting times in our space; we are earning new business from large organizations, retaining customers and growing net revenue retention, and driving on ambitious new initiatives. At Lookout, partners make up one of the five pillars of our go-to-market strategy. A channel first business, our teams know what it takes to build a sustainable channel partnership to ensure our partners accelerate their business growth through up-sell, cross-sell and predictable renewal revenue streams.
The primary objective of the partner marketing manager role is to develop marketing programs with our partners to achieve joint GTM objectives. The role requires the ability to build strong relationships with the Lookout Sales, Channel, Field Marketing, Demand Generation and Product Marketing teams. Must be a data driven marketer, able to do quantitative analysis on channel landscape, measuring partner marketing success.The role will report to the VP of Field and Alliances Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Execute the North American Global Partner Marketing strategy
- Design and measure demand programs with/to/for partners, including launches/campaigns in a box.
- Drive thought leadership and influence within Lookout and work with all levels of channel sales, field marketing, demand generation and product marketing to achieve partner marketing priorities
- Key contributor to channel revenue goals
- Track and report on marketing metrics and effectiveness of global campaign ROI
- Partner enablement content
- Support the following with global programs:
- Channel partner program
- Champion program
- Partner Academy and Summits
- Partner briefings
- Incentive programs
Qualifications
- 8+ years of partner marketing experience with at least 5+ years of experience in the cybersecurity industry
- Fluent in cybersecurity – you can explain the difference between policy and threat, and between malware and tools, tactics and procedures
- Excellent storyteller – you can capture the audience’s imagination and own the room
- Experienced media spokesperson – address any question and find a way to tell a story about your business
- Initiative – take action when you see something that needs to be addressed
- Customer first – addressing the needs and concerns of the customer will drive revenue and brand affinity
- Imagination – you can see where marketing needs to go when the company is forging a new path
- Provocative – you aren’t afraid to take a contrarian point of view and form a thesis to substantiate it
