Senior Manager, Proposal and Budgeting Systems - Remote

The Senior Manager Proposal and Budgeting Systems will be responsible for the conceptualization, design, build and maintenance of the financial tools used within Business Operations in support of the budget development and reporting needs for our internal and external clients as well as other duties as determined by his/her supervisor in accordance with all departmental processes and timelines.  Candidates can be based in Spain, UK, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia or Serbia.

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

• Primary responsibility for development and maintenance of the financial tools to be used by the Business Operations Department
• Work with all the departments in Precision for Medicine (and sister companies as necessary) that are either budgeted for or participate in the knowledge of the services Precision provides.
• Lead discussions with internal personnel to analyze and develop the departmental algorithms to appropriately capture budgetary needs.
• Participate in the development and implementation of rates to be used for all resources across all departments
• Work with our financial department and outside consultants to ensure the Business Operations systems contain the necessary data for all reporting and functional requirements.
• Assist in the training of Business Operations personnel on using the systems.
• Assist in the training of operations staff on reading and interpreting the systems.
• Support the management of the system(s) to ensure compatibility with Precision ERP and Salesforce (and other) needs. Working directly with these vendors to ensure their systems and our systems are working together to provide the reporting functions needed.
• Assist Business Operations on unique client requests where systems may need to be adjusted.

Qualifications:

Minimum Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Outstanding interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently toward delivering high quality, client-ready operational budgets and proposals 
• Strong organizational and time management skills including ability to quickly shift priorities
• Detail oriented, with a high focus on quality
• High proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft applications 
• Able to work in a collaborative team environment to support departmental/company goals and values
• Must be able to communicate effectively in the English language

Preferred:

• Experience in proposal development in CRO and/or Pharma Outsourcing Arena.

Competencies:  

• Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost modeling and model development and analysis
• Microsoft Office Product Suite
• Additional customer related management tools as determined by the Business Operations teams
• Provide efficient quality control, recognizing problems, constructively identifying and articulating solutions

Travel Required:

• Minimal travel required for company meetings.
