We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team of 4-8 engineers.  The size of your team will vary as we grow and onboard new engineers and managers.  We are looking for a manager who has significant engineering experience and will be a great coach for their team.  Our managers focus on delivering results by improving our processes and helping our engineers grow.  This manager will not have a lot of time to write code, and will not be expected to complete development tickets, but will be expected to pair and provide technical guidance to engineers on their team.  Each team is expected to frequently and incrementally deliver improvements to our application.  We are collaborative and lean heavily on our engineers to help improve processes, but managers are responsible for the decisions.

  • As an Engineering Manager you will be expected to help facilitate and guide technical decisions, and you will have ownership and responsibility for the final decisions.
  • We expect each team to have good processes that help ensure they are highly effective, and our managers are responsible for improving the processes on their team.
