Senior Manager, Technical Enablement

The Databricks Learning and Enablement team is on a mission to upskill Data and AI professionals around the globe by enabling businesses to leverage Databricks and other cutting-edge technologies to accelerate their business outcomes. We are looking for a Training Delivery Leader to lead a team of technical instructors, focusing on customers, partners, and internal audiences. You will manage and develop a global instructor team that has experience in big data, data analytics, data engineering, and data science/machine learning. Working with the field GTM team, you will help uncover customer and partner training opportunities, support development of training proposals and manage the flawless execution of training plans. You will be engaged in tracking delivery of training programs, capacity planning, working with technical trainers and operation team to ensure successful delivery and high satisfaction results. The impact you will have:

• Develop and lead a team of technical trainers, and develop and support a network of trainers
• Enable continuous development of trainers
• Create streamlined training delivery governance and processes in partnership with Training Ops
• Build and manage an authorized instructor program and scale delivery resources globally through train-the-trainer models in partnership with the curriculum and certification development teams
• Design and implement metrics to measure training programs and impact on productivity, effectiveness and overall business goals (reducing churn, increasing ARR etc.)
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training activities in relation to business goals and suggest improvements to our engagement model with business stakeholders.

What we look for:

• Customer/Partner Global training experience in a people leadership role with direct management of technical instructors
• Experience in all aspects of training, including design, development and evaluation
• Experience and enthusiasm for building and growing a team of technical trainers and working with training partners
• Technical depth, particularly with Data and AI technologies (Cloud/Databricks Certification preferred)
