With access to a wealth of subject matter experts you'll tap into their deep technical knowledge to create engaging stories that truly resonate with our audiences across the modern data team. Your role involves transforming complex ideas into clear compelling narratives that highlight the strengths and innovations of our technology to our diverse audience. Your ability to translate complex technological concepts into impactful digestible narratives will not only enlighten our audience but also inspire them. You're tasked with seeing our channels and content through an editorial lens strategically seeding the right stories at the right time to captivate the right audiences.

Qualifications:

• A visionary approach to content creation one that understands the power of Postgres and can demonstrate its transformative potential through every piece of content you produce.

• A deep love of writing and the ability to find an angle and story in everything.

• Proven track record of crafting compelling social media copy long-form content such as customer success stories earned media articles and similar.

• Strong understanding of SEO principles and content performance metrics.

• A growth mindset that helps you think fast on your feet and tackle various overlapping writing projects.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and with stakeholders at all levels.

• Strong experience and understanding of developer content and community platforms and how to leverage community channels such as Reddit Medium and similar sites.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing Communications English Journalism or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in copywriting content creation or journalism with a focus on B2B technology data and related industries.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with the Postgres community and its ecosystem.

• Extended experience working with and alongside developers and technical subject matter experts.

• The ability to unpack complex information and distill it into ideas and stories that people care about.
