We're looking for a highly motivated, results-driven Marketing Content Writer with exceptional writing and editing skills, a passion for cybersecurity, and experience developing a wide range of short- and longer-form content, including technical conference submissions, award submissions, blogs, white papers, e-books, infographics, landing pages, case studies, videos, and more.Â
This person will collaborate across teams within and beyond marketing and with external agencies as needed in order to create engaging materials that help move prospects deeper into the buyer’s journey.Â
Duties And Responsibilities
- Produces a range of clear, compelling content–including technical conference submissions, award submissions, blogs, white papers, e-books, infographics, landing pages, case studies, videos, and more–that captures the ExtraHop brand and communicates the value of our products to customers, prospects and partners.
- Develops content that engages specific audiences at various stages of the buying cycle.
- Works cross-functionally with stakeholders across the marketing team and other parts of the organization to understand major campaigns, launches, and themes and to develop a wide range of content pieces.
- Optimizes content for SEO and SEM.Â
- Proactively and independently develops thought-leadership content that is appropriate for the blog and outside media channels.
- Develops a clear understanding of the ExtraHop value proposition, competitive differentiation, and placement in the market, and stays ahead of cybersecurity industry trends to find innovative ways to position ExtraHop in the market.
Required Qualifications And Experience
- Exceptional writing skills and a proven ability to distill and convey complex, technical topics and messaging in a clear, engaging manner.
- 5 years or more of writing experience as part of work experience, preferably about cybersecurity.
- Experience writing for a C-level audience (and for CISOs and CSOs in particular) is preferred.
- Must provide a portfolio consisting of a variety of content output upon request.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must have outstanding project management skills; knowledge of Asana or similar project management tools preferred.
- Knowledge of SEO is a plus.
- Knowledge of financial services, healthcare, and/or public sectors is a plus.
- B.A. in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of work experience.
$105,000- $135,000 + benefits+ options
