Role Overview

Raytheon's Enterprise Data Services (EDX) group is seeking a highly motivated, hands-on, digital thought leader to help architect and engineer the next generation of enterprise-wide Data Ecosytem for Raytheon Technologies.

You will be a member of a cross-functional team where you can bring your problem-solving and collaboration skills to solve complex problems in the aerospace and defense industry. This role will work closely with Raytheon Technologies business units to challenge the boundaries of what's possible and drive innovation.

What You'll Do

• Help develop a state-of-the-art e2e analytics and ML-enabled data ecosystem
• Design and innovate on architectural patterns to solve ML lifecycle tooling, processes, and interoperability with data platforms
• Build hands-on demonstrations of solutions, technology, and platforms
• Define and publish reference architectures for the enterprise
• Partner with software, devops, and product teams to drive architectures to realization
• Foster an innovative and collaborative culture

Technical Skills

Hands-on experience in:

• ML techniques, libraries, and technology
• Applying ML to business, engineering and manufacturing problems
• Building or practicing within a MLOps / ML-lifecycle process
• Software development / Python
• High performance computing / MPP / Spark
• Workflow / process orchestration
• Cloud technologies / patterns
• Familiarity with Aerospace and Defense cyber and global trade constraints
• Data governance and lifecycle
• Digital Thread / Digital Twin

Soft Skills

• Excellent people leadership and collaboration skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to define and continuously simplify working practices
• Ability to foster the target culture in a large organization
• Excellent organizational, presentation and communication skills

Education

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 10 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 7 years experience.
