The Opportunity:

Video consumption on mobile devices have grown over the years and is expected to continue growing. With so many mobile users in the world today, there is a demand for strong mobile technology. We are looking for aa Senior Mobile Software Engineer to join our team, using their vast experience in mobile technology to drive efforts in creating and shipping our next generation of mobile SDKs. Our new mobile SDKs will enable our customers and partners to easily build engaging applications on their platform of choice and allow them to use our services to manage content and monetization.

As a Senior Mobile Engineer, you will:

Design a next generation of easy to use SDKs that our customers can use to build Mobile and OTT applications for distributing and monetizing their content.
Work with a team of mobile engineers and assist them in the technical development of our those generation SDKs.
Help to maintain the current version of our Android and iOS SDKs.
Create and deliver reference applications that showcase the possibilities of our SDKs.
Prototype new ideas and explore innovative new features in the SDK
Participate in code reviews with fellow engineering peers

Requirements for the role:

Minimum 4 years of experience developing Android applications and some experience with iOS or vice versa.
Commercial experience creating and shipping native iOS and Android applications
Knowledge of mobile and/or OTT design patterns and user experience.
Experience building and delivering high quality applications.
Solid understanding of modern software development tools such as Git, Jenkins, Gradle, etc.

Bonus Points:

Mobile video experience (Android MediaPlayer, ffmpeg, liba iOS media services)
Some experience with mobile web development experience (HTML/JavaScript/CSS)
Familiarity with Connected TV Platforms like WebOS (LG) and Tizen (Samsung)
Experience implementing In-App Purchases
Experience with OTT devices like Apple TV, Fire TV, Roku, etc.
