WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a Senior Network Engineer, with the ability to work on Cisco Routing and Switching platforms as well as Velocloud SDWAN platforms. We will need a person who can succeed in a fast-paced often changing environment, and a varied network engineering skills! You will lean in and support various Engineering pillars which could include Campus, Retail Edge Locations, Showrooms, Office Spaces, Distribution Centers and much more.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Assist Implementation of infrastructure projects with teams across the globe.

- Implement technical and functional resolution or workaround to mitigate or restore infrastructure service disruptions.

- Provide a timely response and analysis to customers and team management

- Provide responsiveness for break fix issues including on-call rotation and urgent response for wireless infrastructure issues.

- Work with Operational Management to assess impact and vitality of critical and/or impactful issues.

- Project/Initiative Coordination

- Assist in working with Operations and Vendors to identify and fulfill the best infrastructure solution based on business need.

- Connect with requestors to ensure they are kept up to date with status.

- Coordinate with teams to complete work.

- Determine timelines to best fit requirement of Operations.

- Line up work to be completed to ensure readiness.

- Work with low voltage electricians to ensure installs are completed timely and within quality standards

- Build and deploy new hardware stacks in our constantly growing footprint and presence globally

- Serve as a resolution point for sophisticated or impactful production support issues

- Help maintain production support processes and ensures that teams are following documented processes to resolve issues.

- Provide operational technical support across a variety of infrastructure and end user services, such as network and client troubleshooting; raise issues as necessary and own to completion.

- Ensure standards are being followed

- Help on-boarding, coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure that we're building a winning team.

- Ensure that senior production support management is always informed of the status of initiatives, impactful issues, team health and needs.

- Stay connected with other teams to understand impacts of their changes, align on timing, and ensure adequate support handoff.

- Ensure that cause is found wherever possible.

- Act as a business consultant where needed to resolve issues and provide information to other teams.

- Develop and maintain relationships with operational managers and obtain 360 feedback.

- Participate in operational meetings as appropriate.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will work with the entirety of Nike! This team is responsible for Nike's Network Infrastructure. From our HQ locations in each of our operating regions to our Global Distribution Footprint and Manufacturing plus Retail locations and Core foundational Network initiatives. This team is responsible for the design/implementation/support of these locations to ensure the business continues going 24x7 where needed.

WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's Degree in IT-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Current CCNA Route Switch Certification (additional CCNP certification is a plus)

- 4+ years Network Engineering experience to include the following:

- Expert knowledge of Cisco platforms ISR/ASR, Catalyst Switching, ASA

- Opening/managing RMA and TAC cases with Cisco.

- Cisco Prime

- Cisco DNA Center+

- Understanding of Cisco Wireless platform integration (AireOS / IOS-XE)

- Ticketing Systems (ServiceNow, Jira)

- Operational knowledge for Palo Alto Firewalls

- Operational knowledge for Data Center Switching (Cisco Nexus)

- Understanding of Layer 3 Switching, Access Layer Switching, DNS, DHCP, and advanced routing protocols (BGP/EIGRP)

- Familiartiy with Networking Tools/Platforms (Netbrain, Solarwinds, Devo)

- Ability to do walking surveys up to 5 hours a day as needed

- This role will be based out of Beaverton, OR or Memphis, TN or Atlanta, GA
