RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Play a key senior functional engineer role on an experienced and energetic team. Act as a finance SME on the Oracle engineering team and partner closely with the technical team.
  • Work closely and cross functionally with product owners, engineering, IT and analysts to design, model and develop functional changes for both new and existing projects.
  • Identify opportunities for functional enhancements to maximize the use of current technology stack.
  • Responsible for supporting production Oracle ERP platforms, as well as configuration updates and user acceptance testing environments.
  • Provide day to day support to the accounting, finance and supply chain teams.
  • Create and maintain standards, best practices, processes and documentation.
  • Periodically evaluate the CPU’s released by Oracle, work with team to test and deploy.

MUST HAVE SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required.
  • 12+ years of Oracle ERP functional experience required.
  • Expert on various EBS financials such as AP/AR/GL/FA/Purchasing. Experience with auto invoicing concurrent program and setups especially transaction types and sources.
  • Experience working with payables open interface import and GL import journal concurrent program and payment and invoices setups.
  • Experience with the PO approval process, hierarchy and workflows.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle and software development common practices including documentation.
  • Experience working on-prem Oracle ERP.
  • Experience managing and resolving production support issues on a business-critical production system.
  • Experience with Agile development process utilizing Jira and Confluence.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES.

  • Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL to be able to do the initial troubleshooting of issues and successfully handing them off to the technical team, as needed.
  • Thorough understanding of the overall Oracle ERP architecture and best practices.
  • Comfortable logging and following up on support tickets with Oracle. Familiarity with evaluating Oracle patches.
  • Ability to concurrently work on multiple projects, analyze business requirements and develop solutions to the business needs.
  • Strong communication skills, self-motivated, detail oriented, and highly responsible.
  • Knowledgeable on creating flowcharts for documentation.
  • Strong collaboration skills, working with multiple teams in various locations in an agile environment.
