This role is perfect for a highly creative and data-driven copywriter who thrives on crafting scroll-stopping paid social content that drives measurable results. You will lead the strategy and creation of direct response campaigns across major platforms, including Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, optimizing messaging for conversions and engagement. The position requires collaborating closely with creative, growth, and marketing teams to ensure campaigns align with audience targeting and funnel stages. You’ll develop short-form video scripts, influencer content, and longer broadcast scripts, iterating quickly based on performance data. This is an opportunity to influence brand voice across multiple channels, contribute to innovative campaigns, and make a direct impact on growth in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment. The ideal candidate combines storytelling finesse with analytical insight, consistently translating data into compelling copy.

Accountabilities:

  • Own paid social copywriting across platforms, focusing on conversion, engagement, and direct response performance.
  • Develop and implement direct response copy strategies, frameworks, and messaging hierarchies that drive measurable results.
  • Write, iterate, and optimize high volumes of ad copy, leveraging performance data to guide creative decisions.
  • Produce authentic UGC-style scripts and influencer briefs that align with platform-specific best practices and campaign objectives.
  • Contribute to short- and long-form video content, including broadcast and connected TV spots as needed.
  • Partner with creative, growth, and marketing teams to ensure consistency across brand voice, channel strategy, and audience engagement.
  • Analyze campaign performance dashboards to inform future creative, scale successful content, and phase out underperforming assets.
  • Requirements:
  • 5–6 years of professional copywriting experience, with a strong focus on paid social and direct response campaigns.
  • Demonstrated expertise in DR copywriting principles, scroll-stopping hooks, high-converting ad copy, and UGC/influencer scripts.
  • Proven experience writing short-form video content across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube; TV/long-form video experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable using performance dashboards to inform creative decisions.
  • Experience in fintech, SaaS, subscription services, or other non-physical product categories is a plus.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills; ability to work in a fast-moving, test-and-learn environment.
  • Portfolio demonstrating measurable paid social performance work is required.
