Senior Procurement Administrator

STR is seeking a highly motivated candidate with Federal procurement experience to join an outstanding and growing Contracts team.

This position may be Remote or Hybrid at our MA, OH and VA office locations.
Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement lifecycle from planning to closeout
• Lead purchasing activities in accordance with company procurement policies and procedures, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS)
• Perform market research, qualification, and source selection for potential suppliers
• Evaluate supplier quotes and proposals to ensure price or cost reasonableness
• Timely respond to inquiries about order status, changes, cancellations, and returns
• Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate effectively and professionally with internal customers, partners, and stakeholders
• Recommend and help implement process improvements to scale and optimize procurement activities and practices
• Participate in special projects

Requirements

• US Citizen
• 5+ years of Federal procurement, purchasing, or contracting experience
• Experience in negotiations and supplier management
• Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), and agency specific regulations
• Ability to read and interpret federal regulations and related acquisition policies and guidance, and to apply those regulations in context

• Bachelor's degree
