Senior Producer

As a Senior Producer at Firaxis, you will be responsible for helping our talented and passionate developers achieve their vision to create world class strategy games! You will inspire and lead your team/pod to meet goals and focus their effort through the creation and management of a project/feature roadmap.  You will build and maintain a healthy and positive team culture while holding yourself and your teams accountable to your project goals. We seek the ultimate multi-tasker, team builder and project leader.   

Some specific responsibilities include:

• Assist Product leadership team in execution of creative and technical vision for our games.
• Ensure that game features and functionality support creative and business goals.
• Communicate the vision and priorities of features and hold teams accountable to their goals.

·       Ability to deliver on product deadlines with rapid development cycles while being the guardian over product quality in all phases of game development from concept to completion

·       Build and maintain a healthy work environment and culture for your team.

• Work with discipline Leads and development team to determine resources necessary to complete projects.
• Proactively identify and communicate changes in scope, priority or direction while understanding and articulating the impact on schedule and quality to the Executive Producer and Leads.

·       Establish, maintain and enhance relationships with internal and external resources including collaboration with 2KPD, Quality Assurance and Creative Services. 

·       Mentor, assist and help direct producers or associate producers on team.

·       Be passionate about video games (especially strategy games), and knowledgeable about industry and product trends.

Essential Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience working in production where you have managed development teams that have shipped PC/Console AAA titles.

·       Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), time and project management skills

·       Experience building and being a great partner with vendors and other external resources

·       Experience handling conflict, mitigating, and resolving risks
