Senior Product Designer

As a Senior Product Designer, you will help advance our design standards and strive to deliver the best possible experience for our customers. You will join a team that is passionate about improving the Human Interest experience for plan administrators, plan participants, and the internal teams that manage key parts of the customer journey. This role reports into the Head of Product, Growth and Experiences and works closely with cross-functional partners spanning Product, Engineering, and Marketing.

What you bring to the role

• At least 5+ years of experience as a product designer, having led large ambiguous projects that require superb coordination and breaking down complex problems into simple, elegant user experiences.
• An insatiable appetite for problem-solving and opportunities of actively driving product strategy.
• Curiosity, empathy, thought leadership, and an urge to uplevel all things design come naturally to you.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and storytelling skills that are effective in driving alignment.
• You’re an expert in the fundamentals: visual design, interaction design, and information architecture.

Compensation - At Human Interest, there are a number of factors that are used to determine the appropriate pay range for each position. We take into account the cost of labor for each position in various markets across the US. The base salary for this position spans from a minimum of $150,000 in our lowest geographic region to a maximum of $165,000 in our highest geographic region. The salary that we offer to a new employee within this range is based on their location within the US, their relevant job-related skills, and experience. At Human Interest, base salary is one component of the overall Total Rewards package. Depending on the position, additional compensation components such as bonus, commission, and equity may be offered.
