Senior Product Designer

About the Role:

Credible is looking for a creative, inspiring Senior Product Designer to help craft exceptional user experiences for hundreds of thousands of people. Reporting to Credible's Senior Director of Product Design, you will join our small but talented design team, play a critical role in delivering important product initiatives, and help us mature our design processes.

The role is full time and compensation will be based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Confidently own and drive both large strategic initiatives and smaller projects, sometimes as the sole designer, sometimes guiding the work of other contributing designers
• Partner with product management and other functional counterparts to ensure strong execution from concept through launch and beyond
• Provide mentorship for other product designers, fostering their growth through collaborative work, real-time design feedback and coaching
• Help elevate the quality and impact of our product experiences across teams
• Help drive continuous improvement in design team processes and design quality
• Play a leadership role in driving design team led OKRs
• Participate in recruiting and onboarding activities for new designers over time as the business grows

Education and Experience:

• 5+ years of progressive experience in product design or UI/UX design, with a focus on internet and/or mobile consumer (B2C) products is required
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX, Web Design, HCI or a related field preferred
• Experience building 0-1 products that have gotten meaningful user adoption
• Highly creative and comfortable operating in ambiguous domains or early stage environments
• Advanced knowledge of Figma and other relevant design tools
• An inspiring portfolio that demonstrates experience leading design projects, crafting design systems, working through complex user flows, and shipping products that are functional, intuitive and visually compelling
• Experience applying user research methodologies and product data/analytics to inform design decisions
• Meaningful experience working closely with product managers and engineers in a collaborative environment

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $129,600 - $159,600 annually for California, New York City, and Westchester County, NY; $108,000 - $133,000 annually for Colorado and Washington. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
