As part of this team, you’ll be able to help us deliver core/key features to customers and build content for customers to better understand and share Yalo’s value.
About the roleWe are looking for an experienced Product Designer passionate about driving continuous product discovery, building platforms, crafting highly usable experiences, and evolving design systems. In this role, you will lead and execute design in key products and features on Yalo’s Platform, working alongside your peers in Product Management and Engineering to bring customers and partners on board and unlock new business streams. This is a critical position responsible for driving a cohesive user experience across the platform and ensuring seamless integration of all products. Additionally, you will actively contribute to Yalo Design System.

You will:- Develop and communicate a cohesive design vision for our platform that aligns with the company's strategic goals and brand identity.
- Drive a unified vision for the platform, ensuring the seamless integration of various products into a single, cohesive platform, promoting consistency, and enhancing the overall user experience.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, researchers, and designers to discover, understand, define, design, develop, launch, monitor, and iterate Yalo’s Platform products.
- Craft valuable, useful, usable, used, and delightful platform experiences that meet the needs of our users and business.
- Drive product discovery and design research studies to gain a deep understanding of the needs and pain points of our customers, partners, and builders.
- Prioritize efforts for the platform area alongside the product team triads with a customer-centric and business mindset, contributing to the success of the company and our customers.
- Co-lead the Design System strategy, roadmap, and project management, collaborating with other designers in its continuous development and iteration while fostering cross-functional relationships to increase the adoption by all product teams.
- Thoroughly document the general design, interaction, and micro-interaction specs and drive kickoff sessions for new features and improvements.
- Inspire a human-centered culture by actively interacting with users and customers and bringing insights into the definition of the product strategy.
- Partner with peers and Design Director in ensuring all design deliverables meet high-quality and usability standards.
- Join the design leadership team to encourage a collaborative and inclusive design culture, fostering innovation, providing value, and inspiring excellence within the team.
- Have extensive experience designing complex digital platforms focusing on user-centric design principles and usability standards.
- Have strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively articulate, present, and advocate for design solutions to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Have strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, guide, and mentor a team of product designers.
- Collaborated on building and scaling design systems used by designers across different product teams while advocating for their adoption by engineering teams.
- Are passionate about information architecture, navigation systems, and integrated product experiences.
- Have been in the tech industry for a while, especially designing SaaS products for B2B companies.
- You deeply understand human-computer interaction, user-centered design, UX, visual design, product development, continuous discovery, user research, and usability.
- Have a portfolio demonstrating a strong design aesthetic, strategic thinking, and the ability to solve complex design problems.
- Know plenty of design theory and product development frameworks, but you focus on outcomes rather than sticking to linear processes.
- You can act as a Figma evangelist and have high enthusiasm for how GenAI can boost design processes and results.
- You are fluent in English and Spanish or Portuguese. The three are a plus.
