Senior Product Integrations Engineer

Our Product development team is looking for a Senior Product Integrations Engineer to develop, enhance and support enterprise integrations. Integrations with customer and partner systems are a core component of Unanet’s value proposition and we are accelerating our roadmap with the implementation of an iPaaS. We are building out our marketplace of enterprise integrations while continuing to attract partners and customers to our fast-growing ecosystem.  

You will help us lay the technical foundation for the growth of the platform and the addition of new capabilities to our offerings. You will work regularly and collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Technology Services to learn business processes like quote-to-cash and procure-to-pay, collect integration requirements, design elegant data flows, and make API and data integrations a significant, strategic differentiator for our business.  

What You Will Do  

• Collect requirements, design integration patterns, build and test integrations between Unanet’s application portfolio and infrastructure to multiple partner and client systems 
• Partner with Product and technical implementation teams to design solutions based on existing API and integration capabilities 
• Develop configurable integrations supporting client-specific field mappings, translations and transformations 
• Work with stakeholders to clarify requirements, troubleshoot issues and advise on best practices
• Create exception handling patterns to alert Unanet of integration errors and create logging patterns to enable Product Support to assist clients directly
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on platform/API enhancements to support new integration paths  

Your First 90 Days  

In your First 30 Days, you will immerse yourself in our virtual onboarding, enabling you to understand and acclimate to our culture, product, and technology stack. As your knowledge of our team and how it operates grows, so too will your impact and influence

In your First 60 Days, you will design integration patterns as well as build and test integrations between Unanet’s application portfolio and third-party partner and client systems. You will contribute to an efficient and effective SDLC. Your efforts will continuously improve how you support your Scrum Team (PO, QA, Engineering).   

In Your First 90 Days, you will have gained a comprehensive understanding of our integrations offering and will have markedly contributed to our integrations roadmap, informing our future deliveries. 

Who You Are  

• 4+ years of experience with at least one iPaaS (e.g., Boomi, Workato, Mulesoft) 
• Ability to deliver turnkey, productized integrations that functional consultants can use for deployment 
• Prior experience working with relational databases and REST APIs 
• Prior experience with at least one object-oriented or procedural programming language
• Experience managing data pipelines, including cleansing, validation, and deduplication
• Experience translating complex data into simplified, automated workflows 
• Experience with API-like data (e.g., CSV files, SOAP, DBs)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with prior experience in a client-facing capacity
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related

• Prior experience with ERP or Accounting software solutions, specifically in a developer, integration or implementation capacity

The salary range for this opportunity is $125,000 - $140,000 per year. You will be eligible for discretionary bonus compensation, subject to plans that may be in effect from time to time.
