What we are building

Our Platform team is responsible for enabling our customers to deploy, manage, secure, govern and scale Domino DataLab in every cloud and on-premise to meet the most demanding needs of our large scale enterprise customers. 

As a product management leader at Domino, you’ll shape the products and features that will define how data science is utilized in virtually every industry in the world. This is a critical role that bridges technical and business worlds to design world-class products that delight customers. You'll work closely with customers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide products from conception through launch and adoption.

What your impact will be

• Work as part of our Cloud team to synthesize and articulate customer needs focusing on the market opportunities we’re pursuing (Pharma/Federal/Finance)
• Build the product roadmap to meet our goals and get buy-in from stakeholders
• Partner with engineering and design teams to execute that roadmap, setting clear goals and milestones
• Support Product marketing in delivering updated collateral that effectively describes product capabilities to buyers/users
• Partner deeply with the field organization to migrate customers to Cloud
• Continuously evolve our roadmap based on signals from the market. Keep a finger on the pulse of the market by engaging with customers, attending CAB, attending industry events, and monitoring what competitors are doing

What we look for in this role

Experiences:

• 4+ years product management experience of a complex enterprise platform product, ideally with an engineering background
• Ideally led a product that had its own discrete revenue stream, demonstrating a track record of not only driving improvements but also contributing significantly to the financial success of the product

Abilities:

• Demonstrated a strong bias towards action in product management, consistently executing strategies and initiatives that led to tangible outcomes and measurable results
• Proven ability to drive 0-1 initiatives, showcasing innovation and a capacity to bring groundbreaking features and solutions to market
• Demonstrates an understanding of best practices in building APIs and has experience managing API programs, ensuring the product aligns with industry standards and is developer-friendly
• Understands and has worked on Go-to-Market motions, showcasing an ability to strategically position products for success in the market and drive effective launch strategies

Skills:

• Possesses advanced expertise in public cloud technologies, particularly AWS and Azure, ensuring a deep understanding of the cloud landscape and its implications on product development
• Demonstrates a solid understanding of Kubernetes and its supporting technologies, showcasing the ability to navigate and integrate products within Kubernetes environments
• Proven ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations, providing clarity to the team and driving initiatives forward with a clear and strategic vision
• Bonus expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), demonstrating a well-rounded understanding of security aspects crucial for enterprise IT products
• Technical background - CS Degree (or equivalent)
