Senior Product Manager

Microsoft Teams is the world's leading unified communications product providing messaging, audio, video, enterprise voice and meetings offerings to enterprise customers around the world. It is Microsoft's fastest growing product in history and there is still more massive growth to come. Our team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help take our Data Platform solution, which provides real-time data/telemetry and service/product insights and metrics to Teams users and Microsoft internal Product and Engineering teams to its next stage of evolution.
In this role, you will own a broad charter that impacts various Microsoft product verticals- Teams, Skype, Azure Communication Services, Graph. The role requires product vision, software and data technology depth, strategic thinking, customer empathy, passion for development of cutting-edge data solutions powering variety of scenarios including data engineering, usage, quality, analytics reporting, business intelligence, and AI/ML initiatives.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities

• Drive building scalable, compliant, high-available data systems and tools that supports Microsoft product groups- Teams, Azure Communication Services, Graph to name a few.
• Translate business goals into strategy and technical requirements documents for systems solutions, measure success with data
• Provide feedback and influence feature teams how to best create and use data for their scenarios
• Partner with other Microsoft wide Product and Engineering Groups to drive execution and demonstrate end to end ownership of complex, cross-group projects to successful completion
• Drive roadmap, planning cadence, prioritization discussions and bring visibility to your team's contributions with the Microsoft wide stakeholder group through regular program updates

QualificationsQualifications

• 5 + years of technical Product/Program management experience and shipping products
• Great problem-solving skills with strong technical proficiency , multitasking and result-oriented thinking
• The ability to think creatively and critically about product features and user scenarios in the enterprise space, especially thinking how to evolve a product into a scalable platform
• Strong program management, leadership, and cross-group collaboration skill
• Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills through all levels of the organization, technical and non-technical
• Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries
• Solid understanding of distributed systems , service operations at scale, and ability to go deep in technical areas
• F amiliarity with Azure Data architectures and technologies is a plus
