Senior Product Manager

The Health Checks team owns Checkr’s Drug and Occupational Health screenings. These products help customers ensure their candidates meet physical eligibility requirements to maintain a safe and healthy workplace. Drug and Occupational Health screenings are perhaps the most complex screenings to fulfill; they have dependencies on a vast network of clinics and several candidate engagement points. Many dependencies mean many fail points. Furthermore, as Checkr’s customer base expands, the need to understand and support a wide range of use cases has never been greater.

This will be Checkr’s first Senior Product Manager dedicated to the Health Checks portfolio. In this role, you will go deep. You will leverage qualitative and quantitative data to build and deliver on a roadmap to help Checkr meet its goals associated with the portfolio. As the Senior Product Manager, you will be accountable for the ultimate success of the Health Checks portfolio. You will be expected to manage expectations across all levels of leadership, cross functional stakeholders, and Checkr’s strategic customers. You will also manage the entire life cycle of products from product design, solution design, build, and implementation as well as managing product performance and KPI’s. This role will report to the Group Product Manager. 

Responsibilities:

• Build deep understanding and empathy for external and internal users of Checkr, while driving large and small product advancements that maximize customer-recognized value
• Collaborate with legal, customer success, ops, marketing, customers and technology partners to deeply understand, document, analyze and synthesize end user needs into product priorities, roadmap plans, and detailed specifications
• Partner with engineering, design and revenue teams to ship new, impactful features, including preparing necessary technical specifications, coordinating development activity, and tracking progress of in-flight projects

What you bring:

• 5+ years experience as a Product Manager with experience in SaaS and/or consumer facing products
• Experience taking product(s) 1 to n; you like to go deep and bring products incrementally closer to “maturity”
• A growth mindset; you crave feedback and you are always learning, iterating, and reflecting
• Desire to mentor and influence; the product team includes early career PMs that crave mentorship
• Strong attention to detail, with demonstrable abilities in interaction design, rapid prototyping and user research
• Successful track record working with a wide range of functions ranging from business experts to developers
• History of leading and executing in fast-paced, high-growth, uncertain environments
• Strong ability to analyze, interpret and present data (both qualitative and quantitative)
• Deep understanding of and empathy for end users
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop ranges for our roles and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. If this role is remote, we have listed the top to the bottom of the possible range, but we will specify the target range for an exact location when you are selected for a recruiting discussion. The salary range for this role is $99,561 to $207,230.
