Our Brilliant Minds team is committed to supporting equity for underrepresented minorities, with an initial focus on Black Americans. What you will do
As the Senior Product Manager for Brilliant Minds at Karat, you will own and define the program vision, strategy, and goals, creating delightful customer experiences for both program participants and corporate partners. You will own developing and executing on the strategy and roadmap to expand Brilliant Minds to a full-scale national program with maximum impact. In this role you will get to dream big for how the industry rethinks diverse technical hiring and work closely with the senior Leadership Team bringing Karat's vision for more fair, predictive and enjoyable interviews to life.
  • Own and define the vision, strategy, and product roadmap, manage tradeoffs and dependencies with key stakeholders, and execute on deliverables.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Go-To-Market, Design, Data Science, Program Management, and Interview Content teams to launch new products and models for the program.
  • Present program health and solutions. Analyze program wins, learnings, gaps and needs, and partner with Karat leadership to increase the impact and reach of the product.
  • Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues and delivery risks that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partner institutions and corporate partners.

The experience you will bring
  • Passion for driving more diversity in tech, and deep understanding of the early-career Black and/or Latinx engineering audience
  • 4+ years of consumer-facing product management experience
  • Experience conceptualizing, developing and launching software products or services from the ground up
  • Ability to empathize with partner needs and drive alignment; excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience engaging and influencing senior executives
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions
  • Proven ability to think strategically and execute methodically

This is a full time, salaried position. Immigration sponsorship is not available.
Karat's HQ is based in Seattle, Washington, but our core team is distributed throughout the United States, Canada, and United Kingdom.

Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. This role may be eligible for additional rewards, including commissions, bonuses, and equity.
The base salary pay range across the United States for this role is:
$119,875 - $150,000 USD
