About the Role:
The Sr. Product Manager, Fintech owns key components of our consumer facing finance tools, including Snap! Spend -- budget, collect, banking and spend management for groups, as well as our shared services payment infrastructure. They will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Engineering teams to ensure our products are optimized for our users. The Product Manager will lead cross-functional initiatives to deliver critical internal infrastructure and enable great customer experiences.
This individual is a motivated self starter who puts customers first. They will have an entrepreneurial mindset and be a strong communicator. They will also be the voice of the customer and has a sharp eye for detail. They will consistently deliver high quality work with a defined vision of the product. Being able to switch gears and dealing with competing priorities will make this candidate an asset.
This is Full Time remote position
Sr. Product Manager, Fintech Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of our customers and stakeholders
- Align stakeholders around the vision for the product and strategic initiatives
- Define, own, and protect the product / technology roadmaps
- Detail requirements (epics / stories) with use cases, dependencies, acceptance criteria and scope of features and develop an effective and groomed product backlog
- Run meetings with technology and design teams such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog estimating
- Plan and lead the product life cycle from conception to launch in the market
- Ensure quality product is developed and released
- Manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs
- Support A/B Product Testing team with testing of features and changes
- Use quantitative and qualitative methods to define KPIs and metrics of success
- Monitor the market and develop competitive analyses
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities in a Sr. Product Manager, Fintech:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years’ as a product manager in software products
- Highly organized and not afraid to challenge the status quo
- An understanding of Software Development practices and knowledge of Agile development practices
- Experience with building or managing transactional payment or banking solutions, financial services, and/or payments
- Experience with Netsuite and Stripe (or similar)
- Excellent written communication skills, understanding and conveying our tone of voice as well as understanding our audiences
- Analytical skills to draw conclusions from data and sales reports
- Ability to roll up sleeves in a startup environment
- Data analytics experience an advantage
Compensation: $130k - $150k Depending on level of experience
