As a Senior Product Manager - Growth at Mythical, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of blockchain-enabled games by working on our flagship product, NFL Rivals. A passion for sports culture, specifically football, and a strong understanding of the industry and its fans, which can be utilized to guide product decisions and strategies, as well as connect with the target audience, is desirable but not a must.

Currently, all Mythical staff work remotely with the option to work in-office (LA, Seattle), if desired.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy to drive organic user acquisition through various in-product growth loops, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, monetization / retention product managers, product marketing and data analytics. Continuously iterate on the strategy and roadmap by utilizing data and user feedback to optimize the user acquisition process.
  • Design and implement user acquisition loops to drive organic user growth. Continuously analyze and optimize each stage of these loops to maximize their impact and improve user acquisition.
  • Develop clear business rationale, document functional requirements and user stories for new features, including measurable KPIs, and work with the production team to implement them into a rolling growth roadmap.
  • Take ownership of the execution of the growth roadmap and ensure that all teams are aligned and working towards its goals. Conduct  post-mortem analysis of the results, and present the findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams.
  • Act as a leader and motivator for cross-functional teams, encouraging them to continuously strive for improvement in targeted KPIs and drive user acquisition.
  • Continuously research and analyze user acquisition best practices of competitive products and similar platforms. Provide regular updates and presentations to the organization on these best practices to promote ongoing learning and growth in user acquisition strategies. 

Requirements:

  • Must be passionate about games & excited about working at the intersection of play-to-earn and blockchain games, effectively balancing the needs of technology, business, and user experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in product management or a related field delivering KPI-driven roadmaps
  • Strong background in creating and implementing high-impact growth features for freemium games
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and data-driven approach
  • Exceptional communication skills at all levels, both oral and written
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to thrive in ambiguity, and ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams with minimal direct authority.
  • Advanced Excel/Economy Modeling, Data Visualization, and Presentation skills


The expected base salary range for this role is based on the location where the employee’s work will be performed and is aligned to one of our three compensation pay range tiers. Base pay is just one part of Mythical’s total compensation package, which is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their efforts and contributions. This role is also eligible to participate in Mythical’s Corporate Bonus and Equity Plan.

Pay Ranges by Tier:

US Tier 1: $146,000 - $201,000

US Tier 2: $132,000 - $182,000

US Tier 3:  $117,000 - $161,000

Locations by Tier:

Tier 1 Locations: San Francisco Bay Area - California

Tier 2 Locations: Remainder of California (outside of the SF Bay Area), Washington state, Massachusetts state, New York state

Tier 3 Locations: All other states outside of California, Washington, Massachusetts, and New York.

The base salary for each successful applicant will be dependent on a variety of factors, including work location, education, qualifications, competencies, relevant work experience, business needs, and market demands. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
