The Role
This Senior Product Manager will lead the marketing automation portion of our CRM product roadmap and will oversee the product development lifecycle of these functions and products.
Reporting to the Sr Director of Product Management, this role will be be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product life cycle, including: market research, competitive research, defining product vision and roadmap for marketing automation capabilities and products, creating and prioritizing product requirements, and working closely with engineering and other areas of the business to ensure product goals are met.
What You Will Do
The Senior Product Manager - Marketing Automation responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Product Strategy / Vision / Roadmap
- Collaborate with executives and other team members to craft a compelling roadmap that balances the company’s strategic goals and objectives with the customer’s needs
- Lead a team to develop high quality, market leading marketing automation capabilities while driving execution of the product strategy from concept to launch and maintenance
- Gather and manage customer product feedback including the features portal; Research product problems and solutions with customers
- Develop an understanding of the competitive landscape related to competitors’ donor facing marketing automation functionality
- Work cross functionally to gather input and requirements from internal stakeholders
- Create and manage roadmap documents and management of product roadmaps in AHA!
- Identify and track product plans and progress against key business goals (such as customer retention, win rate, ARR by product, etc) and work type allocation goals
Requirements / Release Planning
- Define high quality requirements for the engineering and design teams – functional requirements, user stories, NFRs, acceptance criteria, success metrics, etc
- Actively manage/prioritize the product backlog
- Manage release planning, working closely with engineering teams to establish timing expectations based on velocity and estimates
- Work across the organization to ensure smooth product releases
- UAT for marketing automation product capabilities to ensure quality and adherence to requirements
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product development best practices
Understanding of Product / Product Communications
- Serve the company and customers as an expert on the product
- Be an evangelist for products including presentations and product demonstrations
- Work closely with Product Marketing to provide product expertise in development of positioning and marketing programs to drive usage and education
- Collaborate on internal and external training plans, delivery methodologies, and content
- Partner with customer teams to provide excellent post-sale experience
What You Need to Succeed
- Minimum 5+ year in software product management in SaaS company using an Agile methodology
- Minimum 3 years managing SaaS marketing automation, multi-channel campaign orchestration, email marketing, SMS marketing, or similar products
- Experience with data driven product design and roadmapping; defining, launching, and managing successful technology products
- Strong technical acumen and strong analytical skills
- Good communicator, comfortable presenting in front of audiences
- Highly detail-oriented and intellectually curious.
- Experience (or strong interest) in working in a fast-paced environment

Compensation
The salary range for this position is: $110,500 - $149,500. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws.
