Senior Product Manager, Partner Platform

OverviewAbout the Role  

We are seeking a Platform Product Manager who will own the vision for our Partner / Portal Platform Tools (internally called IPP). This individual will be responsible for setting the strategy for this space (who our audiences are - i.e. Retailers / Health Partners / Businesses / etc., what functionality is needed for each, how to successfully measure and drive success across the tooling).

The Portal Platform & Onboarding team ladders up to Instacart’s Platform pillar. The Platform pillar’s mission is to create a reliable and efficient set of foundational services that enable accurate transactions, inclusive payments, loyalty programs, rewards and fraud prevention, through shared services and tooling.

About the Job

You will lead a cross-functional team of internal stakeholders (including ENG, Design, Research, Data Science, PMM, etc.) as well as be closely integrated with external partners (i.e. Retailers, 3P vendors, etc.).You will be solving exciting and challenging problems of identifying the right components to build that will allow internal and external teams to self-sufficiently drive the most growth. You'll drive product definition, strategy, and long-term vision for initiatives across audiences of our marketplace, enabling brands to reach consumers through innovative experiencesYou’ll identify the biggest problems to solve and drive new feature development from start to finishCommunicate product plans, benefits and results to all audiences - within teams, company, to users, press etc.

About You

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ Years of PM experience
• 3+ experience with Retailers and/or Away Teams
• 5+ years experience as a Platform PM (and a passion for Platform thinking)
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems by creating customer-first solutions and thinking from first principles
• Ability to hit the ground running in a dynamic / fast-paced environment, winning over internal and external parties alike (by truly understanding their needs and designing solutions that meet those needs)
• Experience driving cross-team alignment and identifying dependencies / working with partner teams when dependencies are identified

• Comfortable driving tooling impact
• Comfortable creating and presenting to the Executive Team (internally at Instacart)
