Senior Product Manager, Rosie

OVERVIEW

ABOUT THE ROLE 

We are currently seeking a Senior Product Manager for Rosie, by Instacart. We are looking for someone with B2B product experience and high customer empathy to help us create a product strategy and plan as we become more integrated into Instacart’s product portfolio. 

A successful candidate will have a strategic mindset with practical application skills while also being comfortable with ambiguity and interfacing with customers. They are able to quantify the potential impact, weigh tradeoffs, collaborate, and align others on a path forward with imperfect information. 

This PM will work closely with other product teams across the company as well as with Retailers, Account Management, Operations, and Business Development. 

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Rosie product team owns the Local Independent Grocer (LIG) product portfolio, which focuses on smaller and regional grocers across the US. Instacart’s vision is to power every grocer transaction, and LIGs are a significant chunk of grocery. Our customers have complex needs and want to compete with the bigger players out there, and we are here to help them do that with world class technology and tools. 

Our team has high retailer empathy. It’s baked into our culture and this person would be expected to be client-facing, which is exciting for the right candidate. 

ABOUT THE JOB

• Create a strategy and roadmap to help Rosie retailers take advantage of the breadth and depth of Instacart product offerings. 
• Leads the advanced work needed to define, vet, and plan work across multiple product portfolios
• Ability to identify relevant stakeholders and positively align them around product plans and benefits, clearly communicating tradeoffs and gaining buy-in in the process. 
• Advances the product portfolio through data-driven insights and incorporates that into upcoming product plans
• Drive day to day execution of product initiatives that align with short, medium, and long-term strategy while communicating updates to all relevant stakeholders

ABOUT YOU

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of B2B Product experience or significant retailer-facing experience/knowledge internally working with customers needing highly technical products/solutions 
• Ability to collaborate with others to get to core needs across multiple customers and create a strategic roadmap that allows for the highest reusability and ROI
• You have a positive attitude, a bias toward action, the ability to question why and dig deep when there may be assumptions and complexities present 
• You’re able to influence others without authority as you align others on your plans 
• You’re comfortable working with clients and client-facing teams directly to understand their needs and pain points

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working and driving results in heavily cross-functional product areas
