About the Role

GlossGenius has been paving the way for independent entrepreneurs in the beauty and wellness space to follow their dreams and successfully run and scale their businesses. Now, we’re excited to expand our offerings to those who work in a team environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for the Teams product, a nascent offering for those who are expanding their business beyond a one-person show. You will take the lead role in exploring the market opportunity, defining product priorities, and working with design, engineering, and other cross-functional partners to deliver new features that drive impact for our amazing GlossGenius customers. This role is a unique mix of product, business, strategy, and execution, all in the name of helping our small business owners succeed. You will report to our Senior Director, Product and can be based anywhere in Canada.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the entire product lifecycle for the Teams product from ideation, design, development, and launch 
• Understand the market, competition, and champion our users to craft product strategies that will lead to long term success for GlossGenius and our users
• Understand GlossGenius’s strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized as the best in the industry
• Collect and analyze a wide range of inputs to identify opportunities to make sure your team is always working on the most impactful things

What We’re Looking For 

• 6+ years of experience in product management; ideally in a multi-user SaaS environment; experience building collaborative products is a plus
• Demonstrated experience in leading the development of products and features from inception to launch
• Technical and design fluency; comfort discussing concepts with engineering and design counterparts
• Strong product instincts; the ability to deeply understand user problems and business opportunities and define a vision on how to solve them
• Passion for empowering small business owners to be successful; possess a high level of empathy our customers and a strong desire to deeply understand their needs
• A great communicator who has the ability to influence and build alignment both within a product team and with stakeholders across the company
• Strong ownership, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to make your product vision come to life
