Senior Product Owner

This role offers the opportunity to shape and deliver a mission-critical SaaS platform supporting the management of large-scale energy and utility infrastructure. You will work at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer needs, translating complex operational requirements into clear, actionable product work. Operating in a fast-moving, execution-focused environment, you will play a key role across the full product lifecycle—from discovery and backlog definition to release and iteration. The platform is analytics-driven and increasingly enhanced by machine learning and AI capabilities, making this a highly technical and impactful product space. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure customer outcomes are delivered with precision and speed. This is a hands-on role where ownership, clarity, and delivery excellence directly influence product success and customer value.

• Own and drive end-to-end product delivery for key initiatives, ensuring alignment between customer needs, technical execution, and business objectives.
• Translate complex customer and domain requirements into clear user stories, epics, and sprint-ready backlog items with well-defined acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to prioritize work, manage trade-offs, and ensure efficient sprint planning and delivery.
• Maintain and continuously refine a structured, sprint-ready product backlog that supports agile development cycles.
• Work with UX/UI designers to ensure intuitive, user-centered product experiences aligned with end-user workflows.
• Develop lightweight prototypes or AI-assisted mockups to clarify requirements, validate assumptions, and accelerate alignment.
• Define and track product performance metrics such as usage, adoption, and system performance to inform prioritization and roadmap decisions.
• Partner with sales, marketing, and customers to gather insights, validate needs, and support product-market alignment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical technical experience.
• 6+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in B2B SaaS environments.
• Strong ability to translate business and customer requirements into clear, actionable engineering deliverables.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in sprint-based development environments.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly ramp up in complex or unfamiliar technical domains.
• Experience delivering software products from concept to production in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities, and taking ownership of delivery outcomes.
• Modern tool proficiency, including the use of AI tools to support product discovery, requirements definition, and ideation.
• Ability to operate effectively in complex systems and regulated or data-intensive environments.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with energy, utilities, or electrical grid systems and terminology.
• Experience in regulated industries such as infrastructure, asset management, or utilities.
• Background in software development or data/analytics platforms.
• Experience working with cloud-based architectures or modern data systems.
• Exposure to AI-driven or data-intensive product features.
