Job Summary: This role will lead a very exciting and strategic new product development leveraging R&D investment that will help our business to tap into a new multitrillion dollar market opportunity. This role will focus on financial technology (FinTech) / services industry. Responsible for the management, performance and completion of single or multiple SaaS based enterprise software product development programs that require design, architecture, implementation and test. Assures that program obligations are met within assigned budget and schedule. Assignment will generally be to higher risk, higher value programs with responsibility at the total system level. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages multiple programs in accordance with agreed deliverables and policies, procedures and department instructions.
- Ensures that agreed deliverables are met in the most efficient and profitable manner.
- Serves as primary contact for stakeholders and customers.
- Leads program execution to meet technical performance within cost and schedule.
- Oversees the development of software requirements and software specifications.
- Manages, oversees, monitors and approves all elements of assigned program activities from inception to completion including proposal development, product design, engineering change order, releasing change order, procurement, subcontracting, testing, delivery, deployment and acceptance of products.
- Plans and directs integration of cross-functional program teams that represents various organizations within the Company.
- Effectively manages major programs within a matrix organization.
- Performs program financial management to ensure that acceptable output is delivered within agreed cost and schedule targets.
- Performs Earned Value management tasks.
- Actively performs risk management and pursues risk reduction on assigned programs.
- Identifies program issues with sufficient lead for timely resolution.
- Where applicable, works to grow the program through preplanned product improvements.
- Assists in providing input into proposals for new business.
- Ensures reviews and approvals of technical approach, feasibility and estimates by Technical Authorities.
- Leads proposal preparation, statements of work and specifications, estimation of product/service costs, negotiation and administration of contracts.
- Obtains sign off on scope, requirements, estimates and schedule from relevant functional leads.
- Signs off on estimates, cost and schedule.
- Leads a PM support team consists of Planners/Schedulers, Program Finance Analysts, Technical Delivery Managers and Scrum Masters.
- Participates in marketing new technology, developing potential new business, and responsible for obtaining follow-on business in conjunction with Business Development.
- Comply with the code of conduct, quality, security, and occupational health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Ensures successful Pre PI (Program Increment) Planning and PI Planning following SAFe model.
- Prepares and presents program status reports on all aspects of the program.
- In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by their manager from time-to-time, as may be reasonably required of them.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Qualifications
- Professional Certification in Project/Program Management (PRINCE2, PMP)
- 10+ years of project/program management experience, preferably in leading Payments SaaS based products.
- Four-year college degree or equivalent qualification in a Software Engineering, Computer Science or other technical discipline.
- Good knowledge of Payments industry and Payments software products.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge
Essential:
- Significant Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) knowledge in SaaS model.
- Full lifecycle Project Management with significant experience as a project manager delivering complex software engineering / tech-based projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at one time, including associated project teams.
- Must be able to work in a matrix organization to ensure successful delivery of Products.
- Expert in building and motivating project teams.
- Expert in verbal and written communications and stakeholder management (internal and external).
- Expert in Project Management tools including scheduling, spreadsheets and presentations.
- Experience in contract negotiations with suppliers/customers including knowledge of software engineering standards and specifications.
- Business and finance savvy.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of tools like Jira, Confluence, Primavera and SAP.
Personal Qualities
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with customers, subcontractors and vendors, and to deal with employees and managers at all levels and across all departments.
- Ability to travel as needed by individual project requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in pressure situations.
- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage large virtual teams distributed globally.
- Ability to manage projects with minimal supervision.
