The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager, who will be responsible for project management of all assigned projects. This role involves working collaboratively across functions, such as IT, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, HR and other functions to deliver key strategic projects as part of our business transformation programme.
The successful candidate will face off to Senior Leaders and Executives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and lead multiple cross functional projects focused on growing the business and evolving for the future
- Ensuring change management is planned for and executed effectively to prepare the organization for change
- Help to develop, model and share best practice in project management across the organization as we evolve and mature
- Contribute to reporting across Poppulo’s portfolio of strategic initiatives supporting achievement of our OKRs
- Responsible for successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of various strategic projects
- Work closely with Executive Sponsors, Business Owners, Functional Leaders and 3rd parties where necessary to drive successful project implementation to achieve project objectives
- Proactive risk and dependency management for assigned projects
- Work alongside other Project Managers to manage cross functional dependencies and risks across the Programme / Project Portfolio.
- Establish priorities, build buy-in to a sense of urgency and importance while following best practice Project Management methodology in project execution
- Encourage people to work collaboratively to reach decisions, while establishing an escalation process for disagreement as appropriate
Candidate Expertise Required:
- Third level degree in a related field, as well as an industry recognized Project Management Qualification
- 5+ years experience in relevant roles including project management, management consulting, change management etc.
- Track record of driving organizational and cross-functional alignment to produce positive outcomes
- Experience working in a SaaS environment is beneficial
- Successful track record within a fast paced, engaging, technology environment
- Experience working flexibly across a range of responsibilities, projects and programmes.
- Experience in waterfall and/or agile project management methodology
- Metrics driven - highly quantitative and analytical
- Ability to understand complex inputs and to distil critical information.
- Experience defining and managing project risk, knowing when to escalate
- Comfortable working with ambiguity - ability to work through ambiguity with little direction and provide solutions, suggestions on way forward
- Comprehensive commercial and business acumen
- Enthusiastic and clear eagerness to learn
- Strong communication, critical thinking and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Ability to create reports, e.g. analysis complex data sets and distill into Executive level reports.
Compensation range: $85,000 - $95,000 plus variable.
