Summary: A Senior Project Manager is a member of the Professional Services delivery team that Implements Acquia Platform on behalf of customers and partners. A Senior Project Manager is responsible for the execution of a project according to Acquia’s methodology.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for the successful delivery of customer projects using Acquia’s agile development methodology
- Accountable for monitoring change and alerting Program Management in order to meet or exceeding project goals, including budget, scope, and timeline goals
- Accountable for accurately communicating project status internallyÂ
- Accountable for project compliance with Acquia processes and methodologies
- Accountable for continuous improvement of the project management discipline in Acquia’s Professional ServicesÂ
- Able to participate in face-to-face customer communication
- Efficiently and professionally facilitates meetings/presentations/trainings via online platforms (e.g. Zoom) and/or in person
- Ad Hoc duties as assigned
Key requirements:
- Can demonstrate organizational skills
- Can handle ambiguity, anticipate and identify the challenges that prevent progress
- Preferred 5-8 years experience in project management role within a digital/IT organization'
- Project Management and/or SCRUM certification preferred
- Awareness of content management and digital experience technologiesÂ
- Communicates honestly, openly, with transparency.
- Delivers hard messages (with appropriate wording, tact, …); Fact-based communication; Handles pressure; Messaging in appropriate context. Provide background, connect to the big picture
- Communicates complex ideas in easy to understand ways. Able to make connections between new, complex concepts and familiar, shared experiences. Able to connect the dots.
- Able to perceive project and organizational issues quickly through effective questioning and analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to grow and adapt into role and take on additional responsibilitiesÂ
- Willing to take responsibility and ownership.
