Senior Python Developer

We're looking for a Senior Python Developer who can assist in shaping the company culture in our Sandy office. As we're a global company communication with all levels of the organization is key. This role has lots of opportunities to grow and develop, so lifelong learners and go-getters are welcomed.

You will collaborate with a fun, brilliant team of data science professionals to maintain one of the eCommerce industry's most popular and used intelligence products - in use by a who's who of top brands. In particular, you will be responsible for building out scalable, stable, cost efficient, and blazing fast code.

Key responsibilities:

• Build out scalable, stable, cost efficient, and blazing fast implementations of data scientists' inventions.
• Maintain and improve the core data science engine behind the Market Share Sales and Share product (Python, PySpark)
• Minimize data costs through expertise.

Your experience:

• Demonstrated expert in Python [ideally 5+ years of experience] (code samples required)
• Strong experience with AWS products and Spark
• Bonus points for experience in Scala, Java, R, Weka, and/or C
• Confidence working with algorithms, ML
• Expert at data pipelines, bonus for experience with streams
